OCRegister.com, a Freedom Communications, Inc. website utilizing Analog Analytics’ white-label Bigger Better Deal program, sold nearly 5,500 deals and generated approximately $188,000 in revenue on March 10. Both are single-day records.
Leveraging on-air radio promotions, in-house media, and Facebook and Twitter pages, OCRegister.com’s Deal of the Day featured a Catalina Flyer catamaran deal that sold 5,457 round-trip tickets for $34 in 24 hours, with additional sales generated from its side deals.

Daily Deals Driving Real Revenue Online From Print, TV Broadcast, Radio
Hearst’s media services company LocalEdge will adopt Analog Analytic’s Bigger Better Deal platform, a white label daily deal service aimed at supporting local media companies and advertisers. The companies plan to announce the partnership Monday. The deals are tracked and optimized using an analytics platform and other technology.
Hearst is one in many publishers signing on, according to Analog Analytics CEO Ken Kalb, who once ran a paid search optimization company. He views daily deals through tech-tinted glasses, integrating best practices and analytics technology to runs deals for News Day, Newsweek, and soon one of the three top cable companies in the United States.

Hearst Adds Daily Deals Powered By Analog Analytics
The latest newspaper chain to turn to daily deals to supplement its online revenue: Hearst Corp. The company will soon offer daily deals in many of its local markets, under an agreement with white label daily deals service Analog Analytics. Analog Analytics CEO Ken Kalb tells us that SeattlePi.com will be the first Hearst-owned property to offer the option to its advertisers.
